After a creative break in a former nudist colony in Hawaii, LaChapelle returned with new artistic visions. He shifted his focus from the covers of major fashion magazines to exhibitions in galleries and museums around the world. "Lost + Found" shows a fascinating collection of portraits of famous people such as Miley Cyrus, David Bowie, Naomi Campbell and Amy Winehouse and deals with contemporary themes such as identity, consumer culture and man's relationship with nature.

The artist:
David LaChapelle began his career with a shoot for Interview magazine at the invitation of Andy Warhol . His works have been exhibited in numerous international galleries and museums, including the Tony Shafrazi Gallery and Deitch Projects in New York and the Barbican in London. His photographs have graced the covers of famous magazines such as Italian Vogue , Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone . In recent years, LaChapelle has expanded his work to include music videos, live theater and documentaries.
