The Fat Dining Chair is a sculptural designer dining chair that combines comfort, presence, and contemporary elegance. Based on the iconic Fat silhouette, it offers a harmonious balance between soft, organic shapes and an architectural structure, suitable for both residential interiors and contract spaces.

Upholstered in Kvadrat Elle Bouclé in Bright White and combined with a polished black steel frame, it creates a high-quality contrast between texture and materiality. The bouclé fabric provides a soft tactile feel and great seating comfort, while the steel base offers stability and visual lightness. The seat shell is designed to gently cradle the body and provide comfort even during prolonged use.

The Fat collection was initially tested at the Coal Office Restaurant and subsequently optimized to make the chair lighter and improve its handling in daily use, without compromising design or stability.

Designed in Tom Dixon’s Kings Cross studio, each piece represents innovation, quality, and contemporary design. The Fat collection is characterized by its distinct curves and playful yet elegant aesthetic, and also includes lounge chairs, bar stools, and sofas.
