The Artist:
David LaChapelle began his career at the invitation of Andy Warhol with a shoot for Interview magazine. His work has been exhibited in numerous international galleries and museums, including the Tony Shafrazi Gallery and Deitch Projects in New York and the Barbican in London. His photographs have appeared on the covers of famous magazines such as Italian Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Rolling Stone. In recent years, LaChapelle has expanded his work to include music videos, live theater, and documentaries.
