Tradition meets contemporary design
The Layer Blue vase pays homage to the rich Dutch ceramic tradition. Designed by &k Amsterdam in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam , its design is inspired by historical Delft flower pyramids (1692-1700). Its characteristic pagoda shape and classic blue and white ornamentation give it a timeless elegance.
Each vase is crafted from fine porcelain and hand-painted. Its stepped design with multiple openings allows for exceptional flower arrangements and makes it a striking sculptural piece, even without flowers.
