Fat Dining Chair – Polished Black Steel and Forest Royal Velvet

The Fat Dining Chair is a sculpturally designed dining chair that combines comfort, presence, and contemporary elegance. Based on the iconic Fat silhouette, it is a stylish addition to both residential interiors and contract spaces. Its soft, organic shape is designed to hug the body, offering an exceptionally comfortable seating experience.

Upholstered in Forest Royal Velvet, combined with a polished black steel frame, it creates a luxurious yet modern aesthetic. The velvety surface provides a soft and sophisticated seating feel, while the steel frame ensures stability, durability, and visual lightness.

Initially tested at the Coal Office Restaurant, the Fat collection was later developed and optimized. Its current construction is lighter, making it easier to handle and move without compromising stability or design quality.

Designed at Tom Dixon’s Kings Cross studio, the Fat Dining Chair represents innovative design, high-quality materials, and contemporary functionality. The Fat collection includes various seating pieces such as dining chairs, lounge chairs, bar stools, and sofas, following the "Hug the body" principle.
